Christine Louise (Morrissey) Dougan

Christine Louise (Morrissey) Dougan, 59, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, January 8, 2017 in Houston.  Christine was born on May 24, 1957 to parents George and Audrey (Cox) Morrisey in Lakeland, Florida.  She married the love of her life, Forrest Dougan, on May 17, 1996 at Mary Queen Catholic Church in Friendswood.  Chris was generous to a fault – always willing to help her family and friends.  She had a unique capacity to listen and understand people.  She enjoyed researching the family genealogy and her Irish heritage.  She especially enjoyed the Christmas season and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.  Her hobbies also included reading and travelling with her sisters.  She loved her furr-babies, Boudreaux, Baby-Dog and Sam.  Her most precious times were spent being surrounded by her family, whom she adored and treasured.  She will be missed by all that knew her.

Christine was preceded in death by her father, George David Morrissey.

She is survived by her husband, Forrest Dougan; mother, Audrey Morrissey; children:  Rachel Keesee and wife Stephanie Baker, Sean Keesee and wife Tobi Johnson, John Dougan and Andrew Dougan; sisters:  Pat Gardner and husband Charlie, Linda Bates and husband Bob; grandson, Patrick Keesee; uncle, Dennis Bankston; and many family members and friends.
