I am sorry to hear of Mrs. Helgeson passing. She will be greatly missed. She was a very patient and dedicated teacher. She my favorite math teacher in high school. I struggled threw math, but she never gave up on me. I think of her often now that I am grown and have children of my own. I will keep her family in my prayers.

I was blessed to have had your wife and mom as my teacher in high school. She was an amazing teacher, and you could tell she loved teaching with a passion. It was teachers like her that inspired me to become an educator. My thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time.

My sincere condolences to Liz's family. Liz was our homebound teacher for our teen parents at AHS. I will miss seeing and talking to her. She was an awesome teacher! Have y'all in my thoughts and prayers.

I taught math at Alvin High School with Liz for years and she was one of the best teachers there. She loved her students and really enjoyed teaching them math. She will be missed and my prayers for her family.

Both Nick and I taught with Liz for many years, and were also good friends with her family. She was an outstanding and outspoken, caring math teacher. When we left Alvin, she was among those we really missed and often thought about. My students over the years always talked about her and how much they respected her.
