Laura Ward Chronister, 90, went to be with our Lord on Monday, October 24, 2016 in Houston. Laura was born on January 23, 1926 to parents Mariano and Maria (Souza) Costa in Fall River, Massachusetts. She was happily married to Arnold Chronister until his passing. Laura was a Catholic and a member of the Elks Lodge. Her hobbies included dancing and gardening. She was a loving wife, great mother, and good friend and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Chronister and son, Kenneth John Ward.
She is survived by her son, Ralph Ward; daughter-in-law, Cathy Ward; grandson, John Ward and wife Margie; great granddaughter, Jennie Ward; many family members and friends.
