Raymond Edward Feist, age 67, of Alvin was born on September 10th, 1949, and passed on from this world on May 24, 2017. Ray was born in Houston, Texas and was adopted at the tender age of 3 days old. As his mother knew from the moment she saw him, he was a “Ray” of sunshine and loved him dearly. Losing a loved one is never easy. Doing what’s right and doing what’s good was how he lived his life. Generous in heart and soul, Ray was a hunter, fisherman, card player, sports enthusiast, and above all, a talker and storyteller. He leaves his cherished memories to be prized by his family and many dear caring friends; Gary & Sissy Kieschnick, Don & Michael Matthews, Kim Hutto, as well as his bonus adoptive family left behind at Fairway Square Apartments. The giant hole that he left there will never be able to be filled. “May wings of angels carry you to where only the best have trod.”
Sometimes the most cherished family members are not blood, but ones you make on your own.
