Eric Hughes Von Dran

Eric Hughes Von Dran, age 54 of Alvin, passed away on June 30, 2018. He was born on July 7, 1963 in Liberty, New York to parents, Ulrich G. Von Dran II and Sarah Jane Hughes. Eric earned a Bachelor of Science Degree and became a nurse.

Eric moved from Pearland to Alvin in 2005 and was an Alvin resident ever since.

He was adventurous, loved to travel and enjoyed experiencing the world. As he journeyed he also enjoyed trying different types of food. Eric had a great entrepreneurial spirit and was always involved in a venture. Time listening to good music with good friends was time well spent for him.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents, Ulrich G. Von Dran II and Sarah Jane Von Dran.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Theophylus Von Dran and Noah Von Dran of Athens; brothers: Ulrich G. Von Dran III and wife Frances of Houston, Jeffery Von Dran and wife Elizabeth of Florida; sister, Kimberly Von Dran of Florida; nieces and nephews: Ulrich Von Dran IV, Xavier Zoll Von Dran, Jireh Von Dran, and Novyanna Von Dran; and numerous other family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Park Chapel.
