Melvie Jean (Davis) Braquet

Melvie Jean Braquet, age 67, of Hamshire, Texas passed away on November 3, 2019 in Beaumont. She was born on October 11, 1952 in Houston, Texas to parents, Edgar Davis and Victoria Graham (Williams) Davis.  Melvie married Gerald Braquet on June 13, 2012. She retired from HEB after working there for 20 years. Melvie lived in Pearland, Texas most of her life and has lived in Hamshire for the past 8 years.

She enjoyed going out shopping, especially at Dollar General. Most of all, Melvie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Melvie was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Victoria Davis; brother, Wayne Davis.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Gerald Braquet; children: Randy Hall and wife Melody, Dusty Hall and wife Tammy, Angela Dunn, Gerald, Jr. Braquet and wife Nancy, Donna Brezina and husband Rob, Kim Sewell, and Cindy Copeland; brother, Mack Davis; along with 25 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
