Morgan Gustav Haugen, age 62, of Alvin passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017 in Webster. He was born on December 9, 1954 in St. Paul, Alberta, Canada to parents, Melvin Ernest Haugen and Theresa Signor. Morgan married the love of his life, Corinne Haugen on October 13, 1978 in Alberta. He moved from Stoney Plain, Alberta, Canada to Gonzales, Texas and finally to Alvin, Texas in 1990. Morgan enjoyed following politics on CNN and FOX News, watching NASCAR, reading, driving the taxi cab, and spending time with his grandkids and grand fur babies. He went to the University of Alberta and received a degree in nursing. Morgan loved to talk about his escapades as an EMT, nurse, taxi driver and other general life experiences.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Theresa Haugen.
Morgan is survived by his wife, Corinne Haugen of Alvin; children: Nicole Haugen of Alvin, Renate Mache and husband Chris of Schulenburg, Terri-Louise Frnka and husband Nick of Houston, Bryon Haugen and partner Dawnette Henries of Alvin; sister, Irene Letendre of Alberta; brother, Lawrence Haugen and wife Belinda of Alberta; grandchildren: Kylee, Rilee, and McKenzie; and numerous other family members and friends.
