Ronnie Emmanual "Butch" Goins

Ronnie Emmanual “Butch” Goins, Jr. passed away on October 6, 2019 in Webster, TX.  Butch began his life journey on June 19, 1959 in Great Falls, South Carolina, the oldest child of Ronnie and Frances “Moe” (Ellis) Goins.

Butch and his wife lived in Alvin most of their lives and it was the place of their family home.  Butch loved going to local garage sales and estate sales and enjoyed being an independent do-it-yourselfer.  He worked for Alvin ISD for 15 years, until he retired due to medical issues.  “Butch” to his friends, and “Papa Bear” to his family, he would welcome you with a hug and couldn’t wait to spend time with you and share his latest treasure hunt finds.

He is survived by his wife Barbara (Rowlett) Goins of Alvin, daughter Trisha Jobb and husband David of Alvin, son Travis Goins and partner Hawk of Clear Lake, brother Tim Goins and wife Karen of Clear Lake, sister Susan Nix of Alvin, grandchildren Preston and Braxton, and numerous other family and friends.

Services for Butch will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Oak Park Chapel. Visitation will start at 5:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service to follow at 6:00 p.m.
