William “Bill” Adkerson Grantham passed away the week of October 14, 2016. Bill was born on June 15, 1952 in Houston to parents Debs Eugene and Josephine Barbara (Planka) Grantham. He was a lifetime resident of Iowa Colony. Bill was an avid fisherman and he spent as much time as he could with his rod and reel. He was a great story teller, and his family and friends will hold many of those in their memories. His dog, Popeye was his best friend and companion. He was a proud “Pops” and his grandchildren were most precious to him. The time spent with them and his children was most treasured.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Michael Grantham. He is survived by his son Anthony Grantham and wife Amanda; daughter Mary Pesnell and husband Cody; brother Debs Eugene Grantham Jr.; sister Patricia Young; grandchildren: Kristyn, Sabra, Elizabeth, Joe, Jack, Josephine and Julia; and numerous other family members and friends.
