Beverly Rita (Bordelon) Unselt, age 80 of Alvin, passed away on July 5, 2016 in Friendswood, Texas. She was born on May 16, 1936 in Ville Platte, Louisiana to parents Martin and Cora (Vedrine) Bordelon. Beverly moved to the area in 1969 from Gonzales, Louisiana. She was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. Beverly loved to read, watch movies, going out to eat, and visiting with her friends and family. She married the love of her life, Albert Unselt, on March 30, 1985 in Alvin.
Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Unselt; parents, Martin and Cora Bordelon; daughters, Ann Parker and Shirlene Marie Braddy; and brothers: Octave, Ferdie, Alvin, Allen, Rodney and Ural.
She is survived by her children: Keith Parker and wife Laura of Alvin, Marty Parker and wife Tami of Lake Charles, Louisiana; son in law, H. L. Braddy; grandchildren: Trey Braddy, Ethan Braddy, Russell Parker and wife Angela and Rhonda Bryant; great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
