Bobbie Jean Anderson, 60, of Friendswood passed away on Friday, July 3, 2015. Bobbie was born on December 14, 1954 in Jefferson, Texas to parents Melvin Starnes and Dorothy Slayton. She was an avid lover of the outdoors, where she enjoyed walking and spending time with nature. Bobbie loved life itself, but most precious to her were her grandbabies. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Loretta Allen. She is survived by her son, Jim Anderson of Friendswood; Her siblings; Doretha Pool and husband Norman, Glenda Porter, Patricia Beaver, Robin Starnes, Fredia Starnes, Dale Starnes, Christi Mitchell and husband Mark, Joy Fenner and husband Bill, Billy Joe Starnes, Tammy Gilstrap and husband Bubba, Kim Keller and husband David, Jeffrey Starnes, Keith Starnes, Brad Starnes and wife Amber; her grandchildren Dakota Anderson and Tyler Sharp; and numerous other family members and friends. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday July 6, 2015 at 10:00am at Confederate Cemetery with Pastor Bill Cole officiating.
