Calvin Hood Smith

Calvin Hood Smith, age 83 of Alvin, passed away on October 12, 2018. He was born on January 15, 1935 in Houston to parents, LeRoy and Callie (Hood) Smith. Calvin had been a lifetime resident of Alvin, except the 10 years lived in Livingston, Texas. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of South Park Baptist Church. Calvin enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Callie Smith; and daughter, Melissa Gail Smith. Left to cherish Calvin’s memory is his wife, Linda L. Smith of Alvin; and children: Rebecca Koenig of Alvin and Janice L. Smith of Pearland.
