Delores Faye Karsten

Delores Faye Karsten, 92, of Pearland went to be with her Lord on March 1, 2018. Delores was born on August 29, 1925 in Malone, Texas to John and Pearl (Burnside) Perkins. She married John Gerald Karsten, Sr. on January 14, 1942 in Houston, Texas. They moved to Pearland, Texas in 1975. Delores liked dominoes, bunko, and knitting with her friends at the Knapp Center in Pearland, Texas. Her family has many treasured memories and are blessed to have had her in their lives.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband John Karsten, Sr.; grandson, Wesley Colquitt; and granddaughter, Amy Colquitt. She is survived by her son, John Karsten, Jr. and wife Emily of Pearland, Texas; daughter, Linda Colquitt of Freeport, Texas; granddaughter, Dawn Colquitt; 2 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Oak Park Chapel. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery with Pastor Wes Wesson officiating.
