Donald Flournoy, 84, of Alvin passed away on May 27, 2015 at his residence. Donald was born on March 24, 1931 to parents Joel and Sophie Flournoy in Jennings, Oklahoma. He married the love of his life, Joan, on September 12, 1952 in Westfield, Massachusetts and was happily married for sixty-two years. Donald proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed going fishing and spending time in his garden, but his most precious pastimes were family gatherings. He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous loving family members. Donald is survived by his wife; his children, Donald Flournoy and wife Candace, Michael Flournoy and wife Kathy, Thomas Flournoy and wife Anita, and Mary Flournoy Pucheu; his sister, Bonnie Sappington; his brothers, Harlan Flournoy and Darrel Flournoy; and eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
