Doris Elizabeth (Springer) Maresh

Doris Elizabeth Maresh, age 86 of Alvin, passed away on May 10, 2018 in Houston. She was born on January 24, 1932 in Stafford, Texas to parents, Terrance Kyle and Francis Victoria (McKay) Springer. Doris was a lifetime resident of Alvin and loved life. She also loved reading, camping, and traveling. Doris was a “social butterfly” and enjoyed visiting with her neighbors on Foley Street. She married the love of her life, Edwin Maresh, in July of 1959.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Maresh; her parents, Terrance and Francis Springer; and sister, Mildred George.

She is survived by her children: Norma Jean Clark of Alvin, Vickey Ann Glass of Denver, and Marsha Rteimeh of Jordan; her brother, Bobby W. Springer and wife Betty of Corpus Christi; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
