Gary Lloyd Templin, 78, of Alvin passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016. Gary was born on March 10, 1938. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Gary loved the simple things in life. One of his favorite pastimes was driving his old pick-up truck around town or drinking a cheap can of beer. He was a very generous man; always putting others first and making sure they had what they needed before his needs. His love for the game of playing cards could sometimes get out of hand when he played with his granddaughter, Frances. There was always an argument but you could see the love on his face for her.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his son, Frank Watson and Katherine of Alvin; his granddaughter, Frances Watson; and numerous family and friends.
