Gerald Thomas “Gerry” Crossley, 62, of Algoa passed away on February 8, 2016 in Webster, Gerald was born on August 27, 1953 in Peoria, Illinois to parents Gordon and Elizabeth (Grabill) Crossley. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. He married Stephanie Estus on March 25, 1983 in Barrow, Alaska. They moved from Alaska to Galveston on May 9, 2011 and continued to live in the Galveston area. Gerry loved the outdoors, especially fishing, camping and hiking. The outdoors and nature was his sanctuary. He also enjoyed working with his hands, always having an ongoing project.
Gerry was preceded in death by his mother Betty Grable.
He is survived by his wife Stephanie Crossley formerly from Alaska; father Gordon Crossley of Saint Augustine, Florida; children: Katie Crossley of Juneau, Alaska, Aaron Crossley and wife Shannon of Amissville, Virginia; sister Deb Crossley of Saint Augustine, Florida; grandson Tayden C. Nguyen and numerous other family members and friends.
