Joe Angel Rodriguez, 39, of Pearland went to be with our Lord on Saturday, November 7, 2015. Joe was born on September 3, 1976 to Miguel Rodriguez, Sr. and Eloisa Lopez in Galveston, Texas. He enjoyed playing basketball, fishing, and going out to eat but his most favorite pastime was hanging out with his nieces and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents, Manuel and Isabel Lopez and their children Panfillo Lopez and Juan Lopez Jr.; grandparents Rodrigo and Florencia Rodriguez and their children, Juan Rodriguez, Blas Rodriguez, Asiano Rodriguez, Julio Rodriguez, Esparonsa Rodriguez-Herrera, and Mariana Rodriguez; and niece Michelle Rodriguez. He is survived by his parents, Miguel Sr. and Eloisa Rodriguez; brothers and sisters, Miguel Rodriguez Jr., Rebecca Perez, Mary Nanez, Anna Gonzalez, Albert Rodriguez, George Rodriguez, Jessie Rodriguez, and Rita Walton; numerous nieces and nephews; and many family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Oak Park Chapel in Alvin. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Park Chapel, with Pastor Thomas Custer officiating. Interment will be at Oak Park Cemetery.
