Josefina Aldape, 85, of Alvin went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 14, 2016. Josefina was born August 18, 1930 in Mathis, Texas to parents Genaro and Nasaria (Hiracheta) Reyna. She moved from McAllen to Alvin in 1979 and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Josefina enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Josefina was preceded in death by her husband, Angel Aldape; parents, Genaro and Nasaria Reyna; brother, Severo Reyna; sisters, Maria Del Toro and Carmen Del Toro; and grandson, Juan Carlos Martinez.
She is survived by her children: Guadalupe Martinez and husband Jaime of Manvel, Raquel Garcia of Alvin, Juan Aldape and wife Guadalupe of Alvin, Miguel Aldape and wife Diana of Pasadena, and Maria Aldape of Alvin; brothers and sisters: Juanita Castro and husband Cresencio of Alvin; grandchildren: Jaime Jr., Mireya, Eddie, Evelyn, Amanda, Cindy, Jeanette, Miguel Jr., Melinda, Monica, Kevin, Gilbert and Selena; and numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and other family members and friends.
