Patricia Irene (Young) Robertson

Patricia Irene Robertson, 60, of Alvin passed away on January 4, 2016.  Patricia was born on March 3, 1955 in Greenville, South Carolina to parents James Edward Young and Eunice Hazel Collins.  Patricia married Thomas Robertson in 1992 in Alvin and was happily married until he passed away in 1995.  She enjoyed cooking, drinking bloody mary’s, watching football, attending cook-offs and spending quality time with her grandkids.  Her most favorite pastime was watching NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. race around the track. A caring mother, devoted friend, involved grandmother and loyal partner, Patty was a go-getter.  Full of life, love and a bit of spunk, she was always on the go.  Even when she fell ill, she was always busy.  Between sharing time with friends and patronizing HEB daily, her friends and family regularly enjoyed her homemade cooking.  Her grandkids were her pride and joy and she bragged on them often.  They will miss her wisdom and traditions dearly.  Patricia is preceded in death by her husband; her parents, James Edward Young and Eunice Hazel Collins; and her “other” parents, Winiford Eugene Daniels and Mary Magdalene Viola Daniels.  She is survived by her long time partner, Floyd Kettler, Jr. of Alvin; daughters:  Mary Clark and husband Bart of Sargent, Texas and Katina Wilson and husband William of Alvin; grandchildren:  Patrick Click, Courtney Daniels, Ashlee Manning, Deric Manning, Shawn Wilson and Austin Wilson; and numerous relatives and friends.  

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Froberg Funeral Home with Judi Wilds officiating.  Following the service, a reception will be held at The Bar Wash at 503 West Sealy in Alvin.
