Ruth Raquel (Barajas) Sisneros Nino

Ruth Raquel Nino, age 80, passed away on December 15, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born on March 5, 1939 in Alvin to parents, John and Manuela (Zuniga) Barajas. Ruth was a lifetime resident of the area. She loved playing Bingo and visiting with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Salvador Nino; first husband, Abel Sisneros; parents, John and Manuela Barajas; sister, Mercedes Barajas; brothers: Paul Barajas, and Fernando Barajas and wife June; stepdaughter, Patricia Sisneros; and grandson, Damon Allen.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Eric Sisneros, Robert Sisneros and wife Tina, and Martha “Marty” Sisneros Schatz; siblings: Benjamin Barajas and wife Stella, Solomon Barajas and wife Sylvia, Daniel Barajas and wife Vickie, Diana Almanza and husband Armando, Alice Cloud, and Robert Barajas and wife Margaret; and grandchildren: Jennifer Allen, Riley Allen, Robert Schatz, Amanda Schatz, Breaunna Schatz, and Caleb Sisneros.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Oak Park Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Park Chapel with Pastor Vangie Gonzales officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery.
