Stewart Omer Stanfield

Stewart Omer Stanfield, age 51, of Rosharon passed away on April 12, 2019. Stewart was born on August 27, 1967 in Atlanta, Georgia to parents John Edwin Stanfield and Joyce (Pauley) Lucas. He moved to Rosharon, Texas with his mother and stepfather Duane Lucas when he was ten years old and this became home. For a short time he lived in Pasadena, but made his way back to Rosharon.  He married the love of his life Sheila Ann Coleman on April 30, 2005 in Pasadena, Texas.

Stewart worked for the Brazoria County Sheriff Department for six years.

In his spare time, Stewart always had a project going. He loved fixing things, from cars to lawn mowers. He especially loved scientific projects and would spend hours perfecting what he was working on. He also had a very creative mind and his love of art and being an artist himself was a passion that he had. Another one of his favorite things to do was to go fishing. Time spent on the water was a good time for him. He had a beautiful heart and a love for service and has touched many lives throughout his lifetime.

He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Duane Lucas.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife: Sheila Stanfield of Rosharon; parents: Joyce Lucas of Austin, Texas and Edwin Stanfield of Little Rock, Arkansas; children: Mollie Joyce Stanfield of Houston, D. J. Mogford and wife Caro of Germany, Danny Mogford of Deer Park, Denise Beier and husband Josh of Pasadena, and Amanda Wakefield and husband J. K. of Cypress; siblings; Lynn Prieto and husband Eloy of Austin, , Steven Stanfield and wife Michelle of Belton, Texas, and Mark Stanfield and wife Jane of Mexia; grandchildren: Benjamin, Brooklynn, Mercy, Ryan, Jacob, Emma, Noah, Luke, Kenny, and Henry;  and numerous other family members and friends that cared about him dearly.
